Martin Terrell


Martin is a retired fundraiser and development officer with experience in leading and/or supporting major campaigns totaling in the hundreds of millions of dollars. He has served Ohio University, Florida State, and most recently the United Negro College Fund. Martin received his Bachelors in Business and Masters in Journalism degrees from Ohio State and Ohio University.  He is also a recognized speaker and writer.  Martin is helping with fundraising and sponsorship efforts.  On a personal note, Martin was the first in his family to graduate from college. He has lost many family members and friends to the odds of growing up at-risk, from birth.  He was fortunate to march with Martin Luther King Jr. in Selma, Alabama nearby to the sharecropping community where he grew up in the summers. He lived during the year in projects of Cincinnati, Ohio. Martin knows well the power of great teachers and schools. He is very proud of his daughter Ayanna Pressley.  She is considered one of the up and coming politicians in the country.
